Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. She received critical acclaim in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper, her debut television appearance in CBS' soap show Guiding Light. A few of her most memorable films are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. It is reported that she is making a film adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the team who wrote the movie Immortals. She is also a producer for an upcoming television series named Gods & Heroes.
