Police are looking into the incident after the body of a man -suspected to be a local rapper WizDaWizard -- was found in front of a home the morning of Friday at Hallandale Beach. The body was found by officers at the house just off Northwest 6th Terrace & 10th Street just before 8 am. Social media users have claimed that the deceased was rapper WizDaWizard. Hallandale Beach Police did not name the individual who was killed, nor have they revealed the circumstances that led to his death. But, the police department cited "unusual circumstance" surrounding the case. Hallandale Beach Police Department Captain Megan Jones stated that the victim is well-known to South Florida residents, but we're unable to release his identity at this moment in order to protect the integrity of investigating, as well as the need to be sure that we have informed the family. NBC 6 reported that neighbors told them no one had been living in the residence near where the fatal shooting occurred for several months.
